1. Introduction

Welcome to theluxurybed.co.uk. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order on our website or via any of our channels, you (“you”, “customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Orders

2.1 When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase.
2.2 We will confirm your order via email. The contract is formed when we send the order confirmation.
2.3 We reserve the right to cancel any order if the product is unavailable or for any other valid reason.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 All prices are in pounds.
3.2 Payment can be made by card or paypal.
3.3 A deposit of [percentage] may be required for bespoke or customized orders.

4. Delivery

4.1 Delivery costs are calculated at checkout and are borne by the customer unless otherwise stated.
4.2 We aim to deliver within 5 weeks. This is an estimate; delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
4.3 Delivery includes carrying the bed to the room of your choice if you have selected the “room of choice” option.
4.4 If delivery fails because access is not possible, additional re-delivery charges may apply.

5. Assembly

5.1 We offer an optional assembly service. This includes assembling the bed but does not cover removal of your old bed or packaging disposal.
5.2 If you want the old bed removed, please inform us in advance; extra charges may apply.

6. Cancellation & Returns

6.1 You may cancel your order for a full refund as long as it has not yet been placed into production.
6.2 Once an order has been confirmed for delivery and production has started, cancellations are still possible, but a 50% cancellation fee will apply to cover costs associated with raw materials, administration, and processing.
6.3 After delivery, we are unable to accept returns of made-to-order items unless the product is faulty or the wrong item was delivered.

  • Return shipping is at your expense.
    6.4 Mattresses: Because of hygiene, mattresses delivered in sealed packaging cannot be returned once the seal is broken unless faulty.

7. Warranty

7.1 We offer a 3-year warranty on all our handmade bed frames and mattresses.
7.2 The warranty covers manufacturing defects in frame, springs, and workmanship.
7.3 It does not cover: misuse, accidents, commercial use, normal wear and tear.
7.4 To claim under warranty, you must provide proof of purchase and photos / descriptions of the defect.
7.5 We may repair or replace the product. If identical materials are not available, we may substitute with materials of equal quality.

8. Product Information

8.2 All intellectual property rights on the website (text, images, designs) belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

8.1 We try to ensure that all descriptions, images, and colours on the website are accurate. However, as all items are bespoke and handmade, there may be slight dimensional variations. Please allow for a tolerance of up to 4 centimetres in the overall product dimensions. These minor differences are inherent to the custom-building process and do not constitute a fault.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damage resulting from your purchase or use of our products.
9.2 Our total liability in any case will not exceed the amount you have paid for the product.
9.3 We are not responsible for delays or failure to deliver due to events beyond our control (force majeure).

10. Faulty Products

10.1 If you believe a product is faulty, notify us within 3 days of delivery.
10.2 We will assess the defect and may offer repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

11. Privacy

We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which you should read carefully.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of UK.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be on our website. Continued use of the site / placing orders means you accept the updated terms.
